    Accessibility Statement

Dr. Juan C. Martinez Clínica de Odontología Especializada — Last updated: June 1, 2026

    1. Our commitment

Dr. Juan C. Martinez Clínica de Odontología Especializada is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive disabilities. We work to make our site perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people using assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or voice recognition software.

    2. Standard we follow

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the W3C, as our reference — the standard most widely used in U.S. courts and in most digital accessibility regulatory frameworks.

    3. Current status

Accessibility is ongoing work, not a one-time achievement. We are progressively evaluating and correcting our site. If you find a part of the site you cannot use with your assistive technology, we want to know — see section 5.

    4. What we don't do

We do not rely on automated accessibility widgets or "overlays" as a sole solution. These tools do not fix the site's underlying code and, in several documented cases, have been flagged by consumer protection authorities for promising compliance they don't deliver. We prioritize fixing the site's actual code.

    5. How to report an accessibility barrier

If you have trouble using any part of this site, contact us:

    • Email: infoclinicajc@gmail.com

Please include the page where you found the problem and, if possible, what assistive technology you were using. We will respond and work on a solution within a reasonable timeframe.

    6. Legal framework by location

    • If you live in the United States: courts are increasingly applying Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to websites of businesses open to the public, using WCAG 2.1 AA as the technical reference.
    • If you live in the European Union: the European Accessibility Act took effect in June 2025, although its scope depends on the type of service offered on the site.
    • If you live in Canada: provincial accessibility standards may apply (for example, AODA in Ontario) depending on where the Clinic operates.

    7. Changes to this statement

We may update this statement as we improve the site's accessibility. We will post the date of the last update at the top of the document.
